通豪大飯店
Tonghao Grand Hotel is a hotel in Taichung with more than 200 rooms of varying sizes. The 24-story building features multiple restaurants, a rooftop pool, fitness facilities, and saunas for guests.
The building was completed in 1989 and was once the tallest structure in the city, later changing names under different ownership and being acquired again in 2018. After extensive renovations during the pandemic, it returned to its original name in 2023.
The name refers to connection and prosperity, reflecting the hotel's role as a landmark in the city. Local residents still recognize it as a notable place in the neighborhood.
