Hofsós Sundlaug

Hofsós Sundlaug is a geothermal outdoor pool on the northern coast with modern facilities and spacious design. The main basin stretches roughly 25 meters long and 20 meters wide, heated year-round by warm springs keeping water temperatures around 30 to 31 degrees Celsius.

The pool opened in 2010 in Hofsós, one of Iceland's oldest trading ports founded in the 16th century. The location carries centuries of maritime heritage as a significant commercial hub along the northern coast.
