Hofsós Sundlaug

The infinity pool measures 25 meters in length and 20.5 meters in width, featuring water temperatures between 30 and 31 degrees Celsius throughout the year.

The pool, which opened in 2010, stands in Hofsós, one of the oldest trading ports in Iceland, established during the 16th century.

The swimming facility maintains traditional Icelandic bathing customs, requiring visitors to shower thoroughly without swimwear before entering the pool.

During summer months from June through August, the pool operates daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with reduced hours during winter seasons.

The pool sits on a coastal hillside, providing swimmers with direct views across Skagafjordur fjord to Drangey Island in the northern Atlantic waters.
