The Paramount Theatre

The Paramount Theatre is a performance venue in downtown Austin featuring classical revival architecture and elegant interior design. The building houses a grand chandelier and Mediterranean details throughout its rooms, providing seating for thousands of visitors each year.

The theater opened in 1915 as a vaudeville house and later became a movie palace serving the community. Major renovations in the 1930s and again in 2015 restored the building to reflect its original grandeur and functionality.
