Uvala Lapad Beach

The sandy-pebble beach stretches along a protected bay surrounded by century-old pine trees and palm groves providing natural shaded areas.

During the 15th century, Lapad became home to more than 200 summer residences built by the nobility of the Republic of Ragusa.

The beach serves as a central gathering point for Dubrovnik residents who participate in picigin, a traditional Croatian water sport.

The promenade features multiple facilities including showers, changing rooms, sunbed rentals, umbrellas, plus restaurants and cafes along the walking path.

The clear waters of the bay provide views of the sunset over the Adriatic Sea with the Elaphite Islands visible on the horizon.
