Zaton Holiday Resort Beach

Zaton Holiday Resort Beach is a sandy shoreline stretching roughly 1.5 kilometers along the Dalmatian coast. Pine forests line the water's edge, creating natural shade and opening views toward the islands of the Zadar archipelago.

The beach received its first Blue Flag certification in 2003, an award recognizing environmental and safety standards. This recognition marked its rise to prominence as a destination for seaside visitors.

The beach hosts the Zadarhalf Triathlon, bringing together 400 athletes from different European countries to participate in swimming, cycling, and running events.

The beach offers wheelchair accessibility with paved pathways and ramps leading into the water, and rental services for umbrellas, deck chairs, and water sports equipment. The gentle slope of the shoreline and calm conditions make it suitable for families with young children.

A designated section of the beach welcomes dogs and their owners, while other areas remain reserved for visitors without pets. This arrangement lets families bring their animals along while keeping separate zones calm for other guests.
