Roc Aventure, Tree climbing park in Val d'Oust, France
Roc Aventure is a tree climbing park in Val d'Oust spread throughout a natural forest setting. It features eight distinct courses with more than 85 different climbing stations connected by ropes, bridges, and other climbing elements at varying heights.
The park was established to bring adventure sports to the region. It introduced the CLIT-IT security system to ensure strict safety standards for climbing activities.
The climbing stations bear names of forest animals from the region, including Chaffinch, Vole, Squirrel, Dormouse, Groundhog, Swallow, Bear, and Falcon. This naming reflects the local wildlife and turns each course into an experience that connects visitors with the natural surroundings.
The park operates seasonally with varying opening days depending on the time of year, primarily on weekends and school holidays. The different courses have varying difficulty levels, so choose one suited to your skill level.
Trained operators continuously monitor climbers from the ground for safety while allowing visitors to navigate courses independently. This approach lets participants make their own decisions and test their boundaries while professional support remains within reach.
