Ferienzentrum Schloß Dankern

Ferienzentrum Schloß Dankern is a leisure and overnight resort with over 720 holiday homes spread across approximately 200 hectares. The medieval water castle stands at the center and is surrounded by various playgrounds, attractions, and recreational facilities for visitors of all ages.

The water castle was built as a castle in earlier times and stood for many years. In recent decades, it was transformed into a leisure and holiday center that today attracts visitors from across the region.

The place takes its name from the water castle that looks like it came from a storybook and draws visitors into a medieval world. Families use the attractions around the castle to spend time together and immerse themselves in a historical setting.

Visits are possible on days when the facility is open - check opening hours before traveling. Families with young children will find plenty of covered activities, while older visitors can also use the outdoor areas.

A large indoor center offers more than 150 different activities in one place, including ice skating and climbing structures. Visitors can have fun indoors without worrying about the weather outside.
