New Golf Club Neu-Ulm is a 9-hole facility set on flat terrain with water hazards and well-maintained fairways and greens. The professionally designed course offers varied challenges across its carefully tended playing surfaces.
The facility was founded in 2000 on the former Fugger family estate Wochenau, transformed through design work by Volker Szidat. This conversion of a historic property marked the beginning of the location as a golf destination.
The club is rooted in the local sports community and welcomes players at all skill levels. The facility focuses on making golf accessible rather than exclusive to experienced players.
The course is playable year-round, though April through November offers the best conditions and most golfing opportunities. Visitors should check conditions in advance, as the facility undergoes regular maintenance during the season.
The New Golf Lounge, opened in 2012, allows players to practice year-round regardless of weather. This indoor facility provides an alternative when the outdoor course is less appealing in colder months.
