Golfplatz Scheidegg

Golfplatz Scheidegg is a 9-hole course laid out across rolling meadows with natural elevation changes and water obstacles throughout the layout. The setting between Lake Constance and the Allgäu mountains shapes the playing experience with shifting views.

The facility opened in 2011 as part of the Oberstaufen golf center, expanding recreation options in the Allgäu region. This development brought modern sporting infrastructure to southern Bavaria.

The course integrates local sporting traditions by hosting regular tournaments that bring together players from Bavaria and neighboring German states.

Players need a valid handicap certificate with a limit of 54, though the course welcomes golfers at various skill levels. Bring weather-resistant clothing since the exposed elevation can bring wind and changing conditions throughout the round.

The course uses natural mountain terrain where several holes must navigate significant elevation changes between fairway and green. This makes it a technical challenge in a region not typically associated with hillside golf layouts.
