Golfclub Millstätter See

Golfclub Millstätter See is an 18-hole course set across rolling terrain at 808 meters elevation in the Austrian Alps. The layout weaves water hazards and bunkers throughout the design, creating strategic challenges across the full routing.

The club was established in 1995 with a design by architect Paul Hauser that incorporated the site's natural elevation changes. This approach created a technically demanding course suited to golfers of varying abilities.

The Golf Academy, led by Head Pro Paul Thompson, contributes to sports development in Carinthia through specialized training programs and regular tournaments.

The facility is accessible from March to November and requires advance booking before arrival. A valid handicap certificate is necessary to play, along with standard golf equipment.

The facility includes 40 tees on the driving range along with specialized practice areas for different aspects of the game. These training options allow golfers to refine specific techniques before playing the course.
