Golfclub Adamstal, Golf course in Ramsau, Austria
Golfclub Adamstal is a 27-hole complex set across Alpine foothills, featuring two separate courses with natural streams, forest clearings, and rock formations woven into the design. Both courses are built into the sloping terrain and offer different playing experiences suited to golfers of varying skill levels.
The clubhouse is built from a carefully renovated hotel dating to the early 1900s, preserving its original architectural character while adapting to modern golf needs. The site evolved into a tournament venue and has become an established center for competitive play in the region.
The facility continues Austrian sporting traditions by hosting the annual EURAM BANK Open tournament, which brings together international players to compete.
The course is open from April through November and requires advance booking to play. Visitors should prepare for changing weather conditions in this mountain area and bring appropriate gear.
The two courses were designed by Jeff Howes and feature elevation changes ranging from gentle slopes to steep climbs throughout. This combination of natural water features and terrain challenges creates a varied playing experience across each hole.
