Colony Club Gutenhof, Golf course in Himberg, Austria.
Colony Club Gutenhof comprises two 18-hole championship courses laid out across natural parkland with numerous water features and strategically placed bunkers. The facility provides 80 practice tees (including 10 covered stations), putting greens, and equipment rental for players.
The facility opened in 1990 with the West Course, followed by the East Course, both designed by architects Hans-Georg Erhardt and Kurt Rossknecht. This two-phase development created a full championship golf destination.
The colonial-style clubhouse serves as a central meeting place where golfers gather for tournaments and social events throughout the year. This setting reflects how the club functions as both a sporting venue and a social community hub.
Course access requires mandatory handicap certification, and equipment rental is available on-site. Visitors should confirm non-member access policies before arriving.
Located just 10 kilometers south of Vienna, the courses blend forest elements and water features to create challenging layouts while maintaining professional playing conditions year-round. This proximity to the capital makes it easily accessible for Vienna-based golfers.
