Golf de la Chassagne, Golf course in Mâlain, France.
Golf de la Chassagne is an 18-hole course spread across 20 hectares of gently rolling terrain, with fairways winding through meadows alongside the Douix stream. The entire property spans 100 hectares within the Ouche Valley.
Philippe and Sébastien Rance established this facility in March 2011, developing it as part of a larger estate within the valley. It has since become an established golfing destination in the region.
The golf course serves as a gathering place for players across the region, hosting tournaments that bring together enthusiasts from the wider Côte-d'Or area. These events shape the local sports culture and foster a community of dedicated golfers.
The course is open daily with hours that adjust according to daylight and seasonal conditions. Visitors should prepare for the rolling terrain, which requires varied playing techniques across different holes.
The course design incorporates natural slopes and uses the Douix stream as a prominent hazard on several holes. Views of the medieval Mâlain castle from different spots on the course create an appealing backdrop for play.
