Golf d'Ableiges, Golf course in Montgeroult, France.
Golf d'Ableiges is a golfing facility spread across roughly 85 hectares of wooded land with two courses: an 18-hole layout called Les Etangs and a 9-hole course named Le Vexin. The property offers complete golfing services including practice areas and dining facilities across its varied terrain.
The facility was established in 1987 when golf enthusiasts discovered this rolling terrain beside the Les Haras de Montgeroult river. From this initial effort grew an established golfing destination known across the region.
The club hosts competitions throughout the year that bring together players from across the Île-de-France region. These events shape the social rhythm of the courses and create meeting points for golfers of various skill levels.
The location is west of Paris near the A15 motorway at Pontoise, making it accessible by car. The facility opens daily and provides everything visitors need for golfing on site.
The courses were designed by Jean Garaïalde and architect Jérémy Pern, incorporating natural water features and elevation changes as playing elements. This integration of the landscape into the course layout makes the property a notable example of golf design thinking.
