Dorpsboerderij Nest

Dorpsboerderij Nest is a petting zoo with Ouessant sheep, dwarf goats, Kune Kune pigs, chickens, rabbits, and Indian runner ducks. These animals are kept across the grounds, offering visitors various opportunities to observe and interact with them.

The property began as a run-down building that underwent major restoration work. Damaged structures were repaired and transformed into a livable farm space with working areas.

The farm teaches traditional agricultural methods through direct animal contact. Visitors experience how farm animals are cared for and learn about local farming practices.

Plan visits during afternoon hours when the animals are more active, rather than in peak heat times. Wear sturdy shoes as the ground can be muddy or slippery, particularly after rain.

Guests can stay overnight in converted trailers, experiencing authentic farm life during their stay. This glamping setup provides accommodation while maintaining daily contact with the animals.
