Parc Animalier de la Ferme de Cinquante

The Parc Animalier de la Ferme de Cinquante is an animal enclosure with various farm animals and birds in a rural setting south of Toulouse. The grounds house llamas, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, pigs, rabbits, chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, and peacocks together.

This place was established in 1986 to bring children closer to nature and agricultural practices. From the beginning, the initiative focused on environmental education and direct experience with animals.

This place functions as a learning space where visitors can observe and interact directly with the animals. The experience shares practical knowledge about farm animals and their role in everyday agricultural life.

Visiting is best done on Wednesday afternoons and weekends when the grounds are open to guests. It is wise to wear comfortable shoes since you will be walking around the grounds and having close contact with the animals.

Guests are allowed to bring hard bread to feed the animals directly and watch them eat. This personal interaction creates a sense of connection between person and animal that is rarely possible in typical modern zoos.
