Edentara - Ferme Pédagogique Exotique, Educational exotic animal farm in Isles-les-Meldeuses, France
The Edentara educational farm extends over 5 hectares, housing 150 exotic animals from 40 different species, including reptiles, amphibians, and domestic farm animals.
The facility transformed from a traditional farm into an educational sanctuary, now serving as a refuge for more than 180 domestic and exotic animals rescued from abandonment.
The sanctuary contributes to environmental education by organizing monthly themed days from March to October, featuring animal feeding demonstrations and educational conferences.
The farm welcomes visitors Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with admission fees of 5 euros for children aged 3-10 and 6 euros for visitors over 11.
The farm includes specialized areas like a vivarium containing turtles, snakes, lizards, horned toads, and tarantulas, alongside spaces for wallabies, raccoons, and green iguanas.
