Réserve écologique des Maillys

The Réserve écologique des Maillys is an ecological reserve in Côte-d'Or that developed from a former quarry site. The property contains open water areas and varied habitats that support many bird populations throughout the year.

The site began as a gravel quarry supplying materials for the A39 highway project. Once extraction ended, the landscape was converted into a protected ecological area managed by the Côte-d'Or Department.
