Europaradise Park

Europaradise Park is a zoo and safari garden near Montemor-o-Velho where more than 250 animal species live in spacious enclosures. The site uses the surrounding Mediterranean vegetation as a natural backdrop for the animal habitats.

The park was founded in 1998 and brought a fresh approach to animal observation to the region. Its development reflects growing interest in alternative forms of animal care and public engagement with wildlife.

Visitors follow a roughly 2 kilometer path that winds through natural forest, blending the forest experience with animal watching. This walking route lets you move through different habitats and understand how the animals relate to their surroundings.
