The Maison Aquarium Val de Besbre displays 25 species of fish and crayfish across 10,000 liters of freshwater tanks representing local river ecosystems.
The facility was integrated into the Community Services of Entr'Allier Besbre et Loire in January 2020, expanding its educational and conservation programs.
The aquarium functions as a center for environmental education, offering guided tours and seasonal exhibitions about freshwater wildlife and river preservation.
Visitors can access the facility from April through October, with adult tickets at 5 euros and children aged 4-17 at 3.50 euros.
The outdoor section features a large tactile basin where visitors can interact with carps, complemented by a sensory garden focused on willow trees.
