Le Jardin Fantastique

Le Jardin Fantastique extends across 7 hectares of land, featuring a 2580-meter vegetation maze composed of over 4400 hornbeam trees in the Jura region.

The park opened to visitors in 2005 after extensive clearing work began in 1991 on a site previously used for artisanal stone quarrying activities.

The labyrinth design represents a French approach to garden architecture, incorporating natural caves and nymphaeums within the structured plant arrangement.

The park operates seasonally from April through November, with varying hours that include afternoon sessions in spring and fall, and full-day access during summer months.

Following its temporary closure due to management retirement, the park plans to reopen in 2025 with renewed features and visitor experiences.
