Parc Miniature Alsace Lorraine, Theme park in Plombières-les-Bains, France
The park displays roughly 30 miniature replicas of cathedrals, castles, and other historical buildings from across the Alsace-Lorraine region. The models are crafted in different sizes, creating a varied overview of the region's architectural heritage.
The project started in the early 1990s in another location before being relocated to Plombières-les-Bains years later. This move allowed the park to grow and reach visitors in a well-established spa town.
The models on display represent buildings that have shaped the regional character of Alsace and Lorraine for generations. You see how these regions have maintained their architectural identity across time through the care given to these structures.
The park sits within easy walking distance of the town center and features wide, level paths between the models. Plan on spending roughly one to one and a half hours to look at all the displays at a comfortable pace.
Each model was crafted with great care from special materials, with every piece researched and hand-finished to match its real counterpart. This craftsmanship means each replica is a small work of art in its own right.
