Dinopark Kołacinek
Dinopark Kołacinek is a theme park spread across four hectares with life-sized dinosaur models positioned along marked trails. The site includes a geological-paleontological exhibition with fossils, interactive displays showing volcanic eruptions and dinosaur hatching, play areas with climbing structures, and designated digging zones where visitors can search for buried bones.
The site was originally part of a traditional manor complex and later transformed into a family recreation area. Over time, the collection of dinosaur models and fossils expanded to provide visitors with insights into how prehistoric animals lived and evolved.
The park shares knowledge about dinosaurs and prehistoric life through hands-on experiences that engage visitors of all ages. Displays show how these ancient animals lived, and interactive exhibits allow people to touch and explore fossils and reconstructed scenes.
The park is easy to access with free parking and accessible facilities including ramps and baby changing areas. Visiting in the morning offers fewer crowds, and the site operates daily from April through October with seasonal winter hours when the park transforms into a holiday-themed attraction.
Visitors can actively dig for buried dinosaur bones and create their own fossil-hunting experience on designated excavation sites. The park transforms into a winter holiday attraction with special shows, making it a year-round destination rather than a seasonal one.
