Les Tacots

Les Tacots is a ride featuring restored automobiles from the early 1900s that carry visitors along a set route through the park. The vehicles hold up to four passengers and pass through gardens and fountains along the way.

The collection shows how automobile technology developed in France from the early 1900s onward. It preserves examples of the engineering advances that shaped transportation during that era.

These vehicles show how people traveled when cars were still new and surprising machines. Riding in them gives you a real sense of what motoring felt like in those early days.

Children around 70 centimeters tall can ride, though younger children need an adult with them on the journey. The ride lasts just a few minutes, making it a relaxing way to move through the park.

The ride lasts about two minutes and follows a set path past old fountains and carefully maintained plants. This brief but unhurried experience lets visitors take in the details of the historic machines and the garden landscape without rushing.
