Le Bobsleigh

Le Bobsleigh is a steel roller coaster with a track structure that carries two cars with six passengers arranged in inline rows through the course. The ride features an electric spiral lift system and modern lap bar restraints, taking visitors through an 80-second journey filled with turns and descents.

The ride was built in 1973 and initially traveled on fairground circuits in Switzerland and the Netherlands. It was later moved to Drayton Manor before arriving at its present location.

The name draws inspiration from winter bobsled racing, and visitors experience the sensation of speed and control that characterizes the sport. The ride conveys what competitive bobsledders encounter during their runs on icy tracks.

The ride lasts about 80 seconds and is accessible to visitors with different experience levels. Pay attention to the safety instructions before boarding and make sure all restraint mechanisms are properly fastened.
