Zoku Vienna

Zoku Vienna is a hotel with a bar and rooftop terrace located in Vienna. The building follows an unconventional layout where public spaces and reception sit at the top, with guest rooms extending downward throughout the structure.

The Zoku concept transformed conventional hotel design by moving public functions to the top floor instead of the bottom. This reversal increased daylight access and improved connection to outdoor spaces throughout the building.

The rooftop bar has become a gathering spot where visitors experience live music across various styles while overlooking the city. This public space brings together different people in an informal setting that feels welcoming and open.

The rooftop bar can be accessed directly from outside, allowing visitors to enter without being hotel guests. Seating is available both outdoors on the terrace and indoors, giving options depending on weather and preference.

A hanging garden filled with potted plants decorates the rooftop and brings greenery to the urban setting. These vertical garden elements are uncommon for a central city location and give the space a distinctive character.
