The Pipeline extends from Bregenz harbor to Lochau lido along Lake Constance, featuring a paved promenade made of exposed concrete and gravel beaches.
The location formerly contained an underground oil pipeline that operated until 1997, before being transformed into a recreational space for the community.
The Pipeline serves as a central meeting point where residents gather for swimming, barbecues, and social activities throughout the seasons.
Multiple access points connect different sections of the path, accommodating both cyclists and pedestrians with separate lanes for enhanced safety.
The 2011 reconstruction introduced a wooden jetty and created a small town beach, enhancing the waterfront experience along Lake Constance.
