Camping à la Ferme de Grange Neuve, Farm campsite in Mornans, France
Camping à la Ferme de Grange Neuve is a farm campsite located on about 1 hectare of land with 25 open pitches beneath oak trees that overlook mountains and the village of Bourdeaux. The renovated facilities feature hot showers, toilets, washbasins, electrical outlets, and a self-service freezer for guest use.
The site started as a traditional goat farm and has kept its agricultural character while gradually welcoming visitors. Over time it transformed into a place where people could experience authentic rural life in the Drôme region.
Guests observe daily farm routines like goat milking and learn about regional agricultural methods directly from the farmers who work here. Being close to the animals and farm operations provides insight into how people live and work in this rural area.
The campsite operates from April through October and guests have access to all facilities during this period. Keep in mind that this is an active farm, so farm sounds and work are part of the experience.
The property is home to around 160 goats that roam freely near the camping area, giving guests an unfiltered look at how the animals are managed daily. This constant proximity to the herds is uncommon at campsites and creates a truly immersive farm experience.
