Camping du Lac de La Terrasse, Lakeside campground in La Terrasse, France
Camping du Lac de La Terrasse is a lakeside campground with around 60 pitches equipped with electrical hookups for caravans and motorhomes. The site offers hot showers, washing facilities, and accommodations ranging from tent pitches to wooden chalets.
The site began as a basic outdoor accommodation and expanded over time to include modern facilities reflecting the region's growing outdoor tourism interests. It developed into a regular destination for nature-oriented travelers in the Gresivaudan valley.
The camping grounds serve as a gathering point for local events, including art exhibitions and the annual Gresivaudan Running Challenge in November.
The campground provides around 60 electrical connections rated at 10 amperes for caravans and motorhomes. Visitors should plan to arrive by car for convenient parking and equipment storage on the grounds.
Starting in 2025, the campground will introduce specialized accommodations for hikers and cyclists traveling through the Gresivaudan valley. These new facilities target travelers exploring the region without a car.
