Les Géorennes, Campground in Champfromier, France
Les Géorennes is a campground in Champfromier that spreads across one and a half hectares of natural meadow, offering thirty camping spots with electricity and modern sanitary facilities. The site includes showers, washing machines, and provisions for tents, caravans, and motorhomes.
The campground was founded in 2020 by Diane and Fabien, transforming an untouched area into a nature-integrated accommodation space in the Haut-Jura region. The founders focused on preserving the natural surroundings while providing comfortable facilities for guests.
The on-site bistro serves regional dishes six days per week, allowing visitors to discover local cuisine and connect with other guests during meals. The food reflects the culinary traditions of the Jura region and creates a gathering place for people from different backgrounds.
The site operates from April to September and provides access to sanitary facilities, showers, and washing machines for all guests. Its location on the edge of the Jura makes it easy to reach and close to local hiking trails and natural attractions.
Two transparent bubble accommodations let guests sleep under the stars while enjoying the comfort of a private hot tub. These unusual dwellings offer sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and create a memorable experience.
