Camping de Tuchennoù, Rural campground in Brasparts, France
Camping de Tuchennoù is a rural campground occupying about one hectare of land in the Finistère region of Brittany. The site provides six camping pitches and two motorhome parking spaces beneath mature trees.
The property was originally a traditional farm in the Monts d'Arrée mountains founded in 1923. Germaine and Jean Toutous converted it into a campground in 1970.
The name Tuchennoù comes from the Breton language meaning hills, reflecting the undulating landscape of this area. Visitors experience a traditional Breton countryside setting with mature trees and a rural character.
The site is small and intimate, so advance reservations are recommended, especially during the summer season. Visitors should know this is not a large commercial campground but a quiet spot for those seeking nature and solitude.
The site offers a special shelter called Loch designed for one or two hikers and equipped with mattresses and camping space. This small structure allows travelers to stop comfortably while exploring the surrounding region.
