Camping Du Littoral, Coastal campground in Ambon, France
Camping du Littoral is a coastal campground situated about 1 kilometer from the southern Breton beaches with accommodation for multiple vehicle types. The facility spreads across a spacious grounds with around 150 pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and tents, plus several mobile homes available for rent.
The site developed as part of coastal tourism growth in the Morbihan region during the 20th century. These projects helped local coastal communities shift their economies and adapt their village structures to accommodate visitors from inland areas.
The area around this facility reflects how Breton coastal communities have organized their daily lives for generations. Visitors encounter local traditions naturally when exploring nearby villages and meeting people who work in fishing and maritime trades.
The site is easy to reach and offers parking directly alongside pitches so guests do not need to move their vehicles. Pathways between pitches are wide enough for large vehicles, and proximity to the beach means visitors can reach the water within a short walk.
The grounds adjoin natural areas with tidal pools and rock formations accessible only at low tide where visitors can observe marine creatures in their natural state during their stay. These rocky coastal sections are lesser known but valued by experienced observers.
