Camping de la Roche, Lakeside campground in Noirétable, France
Camping de la Roche is a campground set in a wooded area alongside a freshwater lake, with roughly 40 pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. The site offers different types of accommodation and comes equipped with essential facilities for visitors.
The lake bordering the grounds was transformed in 2011 through a partnership between the local municipality and AAPPMA. This development established the water as a fly fishing destination and shaped the character of the campsite.
The campground functions as a meeting point for outdoor enthusiasts who gather for swimming, fishing, tennis, and nature exploration activities.
The campground operates from April through September and provides electric hookups, washing stations, and shower facilities. Visitors with reduced mobility will find dedicated amenities on site.
The site features three wooden chalets called fustes, each with different capacities: Le Puy de Rôt sleeps two, Le Chaumeiller accommodates four, and Le Pic Pelé hosts six guests. These structures offer an alternative to traditional tent and caravan stays.
