Eco-camping des Buis, Eco-friendly campground in Les Brulais, France.
Eco-camping des Buis is a campsite with 28 pitches and two floating cabins positioned above a two-hectare pond encircled by boxwood forest. The layout spans across rural Breton countryside with distinct zones for guests and activities.
The campsite stands near ancient megaliths and moorlands of Saint-Just, which point to prehistoric settlements in the region. These archaeological remains shape the layered history of the surrounding landscape.
The site sits within the Vallons de Haute Bretagne, where visitors can experience the rhythm of rural Breton life. Local food traditions and crafts from nearby establishments shape the character of the surrounding area.
The site operates from May through September and provides kitchen areas, sanitary facilities, and bike storage. A car-free grounds policy makes moving around easier and keeps the environment quieter for guests.
Two raised cabins float directly above the pond, giving guests an unusual vantage point over the water. Fishing opportunities include carp, rudd, perch, and pike from these suspended structures.
