Camping du vieux Moulin, Countryside campground in Féas, France
Camping du Vieux Moulin is a campground in the Margeride valley offering around 50 pitches positioned across rolling terrain. The site sits beside mountain streams with meadows and granite outcrops surrounding the grounds.
The campground sits on land that was once part of an agricultural region shaped by traditional mountain farming methods. This farming heritage molded the landscape over many generations.
The site connects to 23 marked hiking trails established by the French Hiking Federation, offering routes through meadows and granite boulder formations.
The grounds are relatively easy to walk, although some pathways are hilly and may require steps. Daily support is available through an on-site reception with a restaurant, shop, and fishing equipment rental.
Visitors can access mountain trout streams directly from the property, with multiple waterways flowing through the surrounding peaks. These streams are known as productive fishing areas that draw anglers throughout the year.
