L'Horizon, Lake campground in Talloires-Montmin, France
L'Horizon is a campground near Talloires-Montmin with about 110 shaded pitches arranged on terraced grounds that face toward the water and surrounding mountains. The site offers mobile homes, tent spaces, and caravan spots positioned across the sloping landscape, following the natural elevation changes.
The site opened in the 1960s when mountain tourism began growing in the region and families sought outdoor recreation in the Alps. It became one of the established destinations as leisure travel developed throughout the surrounding area.
