Camping le Clos Normand, Campground in Bourg-Achard, France.
Camping le Clos Normand is a campground near Bourg-Achard with 67 semi-shaded pitches spread across 1.2 hectares. Separate zones accommodate tents, caravans, and motorhomes, each pitch separated by natural hedgerows.
The site developed as a stopping point between major Norman cities along travel routes from Paris toward the northern coast. Its location made it a natural rest place for people crossing the region.
Located in the Roumois plateau region, the campground allows visitors to experience traditional Norman countryside while maintaining proximity to local town centers.
The campground opens from mid-March through mid-October with mobile homes that sleep up to six people, each equipped with a full kitchen. Garden furniture comes included, so you can settle in comfortably upon arrival.
Each pitch has its own electrical hookup for powering appliances and is screened from neighbors by carefully maintained hedgerows. This arrangement creates a sense of privacy while remaining part of a shared community space.
