Camping Les Bruyères, Campground in Conteville, France
Camping Les Bruyères is a campground situated at the forest edge in Normandy, with designated areas for tents, caravans, and motorhomes spread across wooded terrain. The layout uses natural features to separate different accommodation zones throughout the property.
The campground changed hands in 2020 when Marc Tissen took over and installed modern facilities while preserving its woodland character. This transition brought infrastructure improvements to the property without altering its natural setting.
The location enables visitors to explore Norman cheese production in Pont l'Évêque and observe traditional artistic communities in the nearby town of Honfleur.
The reception desk is open daily from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and provides restrooms, showers, waste facilities, and phone charging stations for guests. These core amenities meet daily needs during a stay.
The site intentionally lacks electrical hookups at individual pitches, allowing visitors to enjoy unobstructed star views after dark. This absence of artificial lighting enables rare nighttime observations of the sky.
