Camping du Lac de Damazan is located on a tree-lined property beside Lake Moulineau and offers 66 camping plots plus 4 rental accommodations with direct beach access. The grounds include a beach area and several outdoor activity facilities.
The campground was created as part of a regional initiative to promote cycling routes connecting Lot, Baïse, the Canal des 2 Mers, and Scandibérique. It helps link these major cycling paths together.
The restaurant here serves regional dishes made with ingredients from nearby farms and producers in the area. Visitors can taste local flavors while spending time by the water.
Staff is available from April through November, with extended hours until 10 PM during July and August. Bread and pastries need to be ordered ahead of time.
The site has specialized water-skiing facilities on the lake, offering a rare recreational activity in a camping setting. There are also tennis courts and mini-golf for additional entertainment.
