EXO 84, Water park in Lamotte-du-Rhône, France
EXO 84 is a water sports facility on Lac des Grezes Hautes offering cable-based activities across roughly 10 hectares of water surface. The site includes 16 different obstacles set at various difficulty levels and operates multiple cable systems for different skill ranges.
The facility opened in the early 2000s to meet growing interest in cable wakeboarding within France and the region. Its launch introduced advanced water sports technology to the Vaucluse department and established the site as a destination for water sports enthusiasts.
The facility brings together French outdoor recreation traditions by offering water sports alongside social spaces where visitors naturally gather. Local and visiting communities use the petanque courts and waterfront areas as places to meet, play, and spend time together.
The facility operates from April through October and provides equipment rentals and lessons for all skill levels. Visitors should prepare for changing conditions and bring appropriate clothing, as water and wind vary throughout the day and seasons.
A separate two-cable system is designed specifically for beginners to train safely on the water in a controlled setting. This allows new riders to build their skills gradually before progressing to the main course.
