Geomaris
Geomaris is a water park in Gerolzhofen with multiple pools, slides, and sauna facilities. The facility includes a thermal pool with calcium and magnesium minerals, a salt water pool, a children's play area with water structures, a sports pool, and a wellness sauna village.
The water park was partly renovated and partly newly constructed to meet modern needs. An important change involved converting the former iodine-selenium pool into a calcium-magnesium mineral pool.
The name Geomaris combines Geo for earth and Maris for sea, reflecting the use of mineral water from natural sources. The place serves as a gathering spot where families and individuals spend time together and relax in the warm pools.
The water park is accessible for visitors of different swimming abilities with separate pools for beginners and serious swimmers. Plan for several hours to enjoy the various areas including pools, saunas, and relaxation zones.
The calcium-magnesium pool is heated to around 34 degrees Celsius (93 degrees Fahrenheit) and is specifically designed to help with muscle relaxation and reduce inflammation. Visitors are encouraged to spend at least 20 minutes daily in this warm water to fully experience its health benefits.
