Hallenbad
The Hallenbad is an indoor swimming facility in Nordhorn with multiple pools designed for different activities. The complex includes four separate halls, a sauna, water slides, a 10-meter diving tower, and a large outdoor pool that operates seasonally from May through September.
The facility served the local community for many years as an important swimming destination. In 2012, a major fire severely damaged the building, and it has remained closed since that event.
The facility is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring ramps and wide doorways for easy entry. A snack bar is located on site, and visitors can check availability online before arriving to avoid peak times.
The outdoor pool is one of the largest in northwest Germany and operates only during warmer months. It attracts many visitors with its expansive grass area, shaded trees, and various water attractions for families.
