Museum of Illusions

The Museum of Illusions is an interactive collection of optical illusions, holograms, and perception-altering installations spread across several rooms in Vienna's city center. The exhibits invite visitors to see how their eyes can deceive them in surprising ways.

The museum opened in 2017 and became part of a global network that originated in Zagreb. Since then, this concept has expanded to become a popular attraction in several cities across Europe.

The museum demonstrates how our eyes and brain work together when perceiving optical illusions. Visitors discover through hands-on experiences that what we see is not always what is real.

The museum is open daily and easily accessible in the city center. It's a place where you can spend time with friends or family and take photos with the many interactive installations throughout the space.

Some rooms let visitors walk on walls and create photos that look like gravity has disappeared. These gravity-defying spaces are among the most popular areas for taking memorable pictures.
