Portela

Portela is a viewpoint situated at 670 meters altitude between Porto da Cruz and Machico, overlooking the coastline and the Penha d'Águia rock formation. The site features observation platforms with built-in telescopes and information panels that help visitors identify geological features and landmarks visible across multiple directions.
