Alma Hoppe, Cabaret duo in Eppendorf, Hamburg, Germany.
The Alma Hoppe theater operates from a former community center building on Ludolfstrasse 53, featuring bistro tables where guests can enjoy drinks during shows.
Founded in 1984 by Jan-Peter Petersen and Nils Loenicker, the duo initially performed at Mon Marthe cabaret before opening their own venue in March 1994.
The theater presents approximately 300 performances annually, showcasing both resident artists and visiting performers from across Germany to an audience of 70,000 spectators.
The venue accommodates 350 people, with the main floor arranged with small tables and the balcony furnished with original antique chairs from Zurich Opera.
The name Alma Hoppe comes from a defunct fruit juice factory that was once northern Germany's largest cider producer in Neuenkirchen, Land Hadeln.
