Plage du Cosquer, The beach at Plougonvelin is a wide stretch of sand on the coast of Brittany, in the Finistère department. It is a popular spot for walking, playing, and watching the sea. The beach is exposed to the Atlantic, so the water can be rough and the wind is often present. The view from the beach takes in the open ocean and, on clear days, the islands of Ouessant and Molène. The town of Plougonvelin is just behind the beach, with a few shops and restaurants.
