Plage de Kervoyal
Plage de Kervoyal is a narrow beach in Damgan set within a sheltered bay, featuring light sand and a line of dunes behind it. The water is shallow and deepens gradually, while trees and vegetation frame the shoreline on both sides.
This coastal area developed as part of Brittany's deep fishing and seafaring heritage that continues to shape local activity. The beach has evolved over time through natural coastal processes while maintaining its role as a working waterfront.
The name Kervoyal has roots in Breton language and reflects the area's maritime past. Today, fishing boats and water activities here connect visitors to the region's coastal traditions in a lived way.
The beach is easy to reach with parking nearby and accessed via a small road just a walk away. Basic facilities like showers and toilets are available, and the shallow water makes it suitable for families and swimmers of all levels.
The beach naturally divides into two distinct areas: the left side is more lively with volleyball nets and activities, while the right side remains quieter and less affected by boat traffic. This informal layout lets visitors choose their level of activity.
