Plaża Lubkowo

Plaża Lubkowo is a sand beach along the Baltic Sea in Gniewino spanning roughly 500 meters of fine sand and vegetated dunes. The shoreline features a mix of open beach and areas backed by native pine trees and coastal grasses.

The settlement emerged in the 1950s when professional fishermen first established permanent bases along this coastline. This early presence shaped the area's economic character for many decades to come.

Local residents maintain traditional fishing practices, with boats launching directly from the beach during early morning hours.

The beach provides free parking for roughly 200 vehicles close to the shoreline. Equipment rental for loungers and umbrellas is available during summer months, making longer stays more comfortable.

Storms regularly churn up amber pieces that wash ashore and settle in the sand along the waterline. Visitors often search the beach after rough weather hoping to find these golden and cloudy stones.
