Praia da Fraga da Pegada

Praia da Fraga da Pegada is a river beach with fine sand and pebbles stretching along a 480-meter shoreline. It sits within a protected natural area along a reservoir and maintains its natural setting without artificial structures.

The beach was established as a monitored bathing area and has held continuous Blue Flag certification since 2004. This recognition helped set new standards for river beaches in the region.
