Praia da Pedra do Ouro

Praia da Pedra do Ouro is a sand beach that runs along the Atlantic coast with wide sandy areas bordered by dark cliffs and natural rock formations. The shoreline combines open sand with natural rock outcrops that create diverse spaces for swimming and exploration.

The name comes from the discovery of golden-colored ammonite fossils embedded in the coastal cliff formations. These ancient remains reflect the geological history of the area and its origins as a prehistoric seabed.
